DIARY: 1000 Kilometres

Yesterday's 16.8km track session to sharpen me up for the race on Sunday took me past the 1000km mark for this year so far and to a total of 1015km run.

I had a good session, doing 4x1000m at my 10k pace (actually did an average of 3:41min/km for the 4 which is a TPL 23, despite very heavy legs. This is one TPL lower than I expect to run on Sunday. This means that there's an outside chance that I can run 36:50, but I'll decide later in the week whether or not to go for that or stay focused on 37:30.

Anyway, great to have broken 1000km, now for 1000 miles!
